From the moment we put the Christmas tree up, this is the night the kids look forward to--second only to Christmas Eve, of course--it's our family Christmas party! We started the night off with some delicious tri-tip cooked to perfection on the barbee...mmmm.

Next came the ceremonial creation of the house for our gingerbread man to reside for the holidays. The kids were a little upset that gingerbread houses are now pre-fab. Apparently, the building was their favorite part...funny thing is I seem to remember always being the general on that portion:)

Brian, Michael and Rachel had a blast placing all the candy and then letting it snow coconut flakes. The biggest obstacle of the evening was keeping Shea from eating all the building materials. She could think of much better uses of all that candy!

After watching some Christmas cartoons, it was sleep time.
The kids went and got their favorite sleeping bags and made their beds.

After some favorite Christmas stories, it was time for
lights out...except for the Christmas tree lights!

After a restful? night's sleep, we finished off our party with a Mickey waffle breakfast. What a fun party...can't wait for next year!
